A workers' representative from the Netherlands, Mr Vermeulen made a speech at the opening session criticising the Venezeuan government's record of trade union rights and was subsequently deported from the country, causing the remaining workers' representatives to walk out and the suspension of the session.

Deeds for several leasehold properties owned by the Dukes of Beaufort, situated in King Street, Glamorgan Street, Orchard Street and Cemetery Road, Bryn-mawr, in the parishes of Llangatwg and Llanelli, co. Brecon, 1846-1889, endorsed with licences to assign, up to 1895. The properties include several cottages and houses with gardens, some of which were later divided into smaller dwellings, and a stable and coach house. The successive lessees appear to have been mostly tradesmen such as drapers, shoemakers, grocers, publicans, a postmaster, a druggist, William Evans the gas manager, and professionals such as a surgeon and a nonconformist minister. The names of several women appear, usually as executrices of the respective lessees.

Notes made and accumulated by Sharon Penman during the writing of the Welsh princes trilogy, including historical notes as well as structural outlines of individual novels and details (both historical and imaginative) relating to her portrayal of particular characters, themes, events and places; the notes are heavily based on published editions of primary sources and secondary academic and popular publications from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries up to the 1980s.

Deeds and documents concerning the lordships and manors of East and West Pembroke, and Cilgerran, which included the castles of Pembroke and Cilgerran, 1482-[c.1891]. The first file contains an inspeximus of documents relating to the lordship of Cilgerran, 1482. There are several leases and assignments to and by the Lewis family of Llangoedmor and Gellidowill, referring to the original grant of East and West Pembroke by James I in 1616. Other recurrent names are John Lloyd and Thomas Lloyd of Llanllawddog, who sold the lease of the lordahips to Nicholas Lewis of St Issells in 1661. The file for 1684-1787 contains suit rolls of the manors, listing freeholders and tenants of Lewis Pryse, 1720-1726. Some files contain accounts and receipts for crown rents. Other points of interest include the history and archaeology of the castle sites, legal issues mainly over trespass and transgressions on the sites and the involvement of the Corporation of Pembroke in managing the properties in the mid-19th century.

The series comprises J. Scovell's personal and professional correspondence. Many of the earlier letters relate to his work in the Civil Service dealing with demobilised soldiers along with letters relating to personal arrangements and financial records.

Papers created and collected by George Julian Selwyn Scovell in his role as General Secretary of the Coalition Liberal Organisation including correspondence received, drafts of outgoing correspondence, memoranda and other documents relating to the organisation of the office such as summaries of press coverage, analysis of election prospects, some financial issues etc.
