Also a letter of rejection from the Times, including 'the general opinion is that they are really too personal for publication in a daily newspaper', Aug. 1941.

Grŵp bach o lythyrau a ysgrifennwyd yn Gymraeg, 1819-30, oddi wrth Griffith ac Elizabeth Williams, Abersoch at eu meibion William William Griffith a Owen Griffith oedd wedi ymfudo i Utica a Steuben, Talaith Efrog Newydd, gan gynnwys tri llythyr oddi wrth fab arall Solomon Williams, Cei Newydd, at ei frawd William yn yr Amerig. Ceir cyfrol yn cynnwys erthygl y rhoddwr ‘Our dearest children’ a gyhoeddwyd fel ‘Letters from Wales’ yn Ninnau, Mawrth-Ebrill 2015, deunydd achyddol a chyfieithiadau o’r llythrau i Saesneg i gyd-fynd gyda’r llythyrau. = A small group of letters written in Welsh, 1819-30, from Griffith and Elizabeth Williams, Abersoch to their two sons, William William Griffith and Owen Griffith who had emigrated to Utica and Steuben, New York State respectively, including three from another son Solomon Williams, New Quay, to his brother William in the States. An accompanying volume comprising the donor’s article ‘Our dearest children’ published as ‘Letters from Wales’ in the Welsh/American newspaper Ninnau, March-April 2015, genealogical information and translations of the letters into English has been included with the letters.
