A collection of secular and religious prose in two hands from the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. The manuscript includes the romances of Peredur and Charlemagne; Ystoria Adda; Ystoria Pilatus; and Ystoria Judas Iscariot; and an account of the Crucifixion and the finding of the Cross.
The Elucidarium in English and Welsh; the Apostles' Creed; the Pater Noster, with commentary upon it translated into Welsh, and other religious texts; and a fragment of the White Book of Rhydderch containing triads, bonedd y saint, englynion and proverbs.
Brut y Brenhinedd; and theological and other tracts written in one hand of the late 13th to the early 14th centuries. The manuscript is written in the same hand as the second part of Peniarth MS 7. The right-hand edges are often irregular.
'Cywyddau' of Tudur Aled and others, including Iolo Goch, Siôn Cent and Guto'r Glyn. Pp. 19-24, 283-296 and a loose leaf are in later hands, as are the titles of poems and the marginalia. The hands of William Salesbury (pp. 73, 153, 154), Siôn Mawddwy (pp. 144-5, 146-7), and [Siôn] Tudur (p. 266) appear in the marginalia.
A collection of cywyddau gathered from various sources by John Jones of Gellilyfdy. Sources include manuscripts in the hands of Dafydd ap William, Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd and Wiliam Thomas ap Edward o Bodfari. The manuscript was written in three stages: from 1609 to 1610, at a later period but prior to 1619, and finally 1621.
Poetry copied by John Jones of Gellilyfdy while he was detained in the Fleet Street prison (p. 63). The contents are divided into three parts and are numbered accordingly.
Poetry in a single 17th century hand mostly addressed to Lewis Gwynn (d. 1552), constable of Tref Esgob. Also included are the Gwehelyth of Brycheiniog, Arwystl and Morgannwg; the Lapidari; and Marwnadau Ieuan ap Hywel Swrdwal.

The main hands are those of Dr John David Rhys and William Middleton. Sections of the manuscript were written by clerks under the direction of Dr John David Rhys (see Gwenogvryn Evans, Report on Manuscripts in the Welsh Language, vol. I (London, 1898-1905), 718-726 for more details).

A manuscript in several late 18th century hands comprising summaries and transcripts of texts from the Book of Llan Dâf and from Jesus College MSS 2 (Llyfr Ancr Llanddewibrefi), 3, 7 and 17. The manuscript also includes a copy of a note book by Robert Vaughan; transcripts of the British Genealogy relating to Wales; topographical notes on Glamorgan and the Gower; and poetry concerning Anrawd and The Wars of Brecknock.
Poetry by Simwnt Fychan, Siôn Tudur and others; and fragments of prose texts in the hand of Richard ap John of Scorlegan, Denbighshire, and many others. Also included are several passages in Latin, including dates of births and baptisms of the children of William Humphreys, and entries mainly dating from the early 18th century and relating to contemporary issues.
