Photocopies of eleven letters, 1837-1851 and [n.d.], of the Lazenby family, eight of the letters being to or from John Lazenby and his wife Anne. John Lazenby had been appointed gaoler and keeper of the house of correction at Brecon in June 1837 and his wife had been appointed matron. They held these posts for a period of over forty years. William Evans (d. 1948).
