The cuttings mainly relate to Davies’ political career and career controversies, including his roles as MP for Caerphilly, and resignation; MS for Caerphilly, and resignation; and as Secretary of State for Wales. The papers also relate to Davies’ resignation of the Labour Party in 2003, and his subsequent involvement in the Forward Wales Party in 2004; his standing in the 2007 Welsh Assembly elections as an Independent candidate; and his joining of Plaid Cymru in 2010.
