Particulars, sent by Eryrian to Gwilym Hughes, secretary of the Cardiff National Eisteddfod, 1899, of an unpublished work on the folk-lore of North Wales prepared by him

A manuscript entitled Some account of the Success of the [Wesleyan] Missions in North Wales, from the Conference 1800, to the Conference 1803 by Owen Davies (1752-1830), who was appointed with John Hughes (1776-1843) in 1800 to introduce Wesleyan Methodism into North Wales.

Glyn Davies, Llandudno, 1930, and a circular letter from Nichol Grieve, secretary, Liverpool Free Church Centre, 1932; notes of an address on congregational singing; a 'final copy' of a resolution by the Liverpool Welsh Presbytery, [1932], and draft resolutions of condolence passed by the [North Wales C.M.] Association, [1937]; a typescript summary of sermons delivered at [Calvinistic Methodist] preaching services ('Cymanfa') at Chester, 1852; press cuttings of Liverpool interest; printed matter; etc.

Miscellanea, 1793-1862, comprising a plan, June 1793, of the slate quarry of the Rt Hon. Lord Penrhyn in the parish of Llandegai, county of Caernarfon, prepared by W. Jones of Bangor; a copy of a booklet entitled Crown Lands in North Wales, undated, containing a leading article published in The Times, 10 August 1849, related letters published in the paper during August and September 1949, and a Report by the deputy ranger of the Forest of Snowdon on the Management and Appropriation of Crown Property in North Wales; and a lease, 1862, from the Honourable Edward Gordon Douglas Pennant of land in the parish of Llandegai, co. Caerns.

A collection of traditions, anecdotes, and poems made circa 1870, by John Castell Evans, entitled 'Yr Hen Amser gynt, ei Veirdd, ei Varddoniaeth, ei Bobl a'i Chwedlau, sev Casgliad o hen Draddodiadau, Darnau Barddonol a Bywgraffiadau &c. yn dal cysylltiad yn benav a Gogledd Cymru yn enwedig Sir Merionydd ... The autograph manuscript of an unfinished work on holy wells in North Wales written by Elias Owen, author of Welsh Folk-lore, The Old Stone Crosses of the Vale of Clwyd, etc. A few portions of the manuscript are in the autograph of the author's son, T. Owen.

The file consists of leaflet material and circulars, 1913-1917, issued by the Labour Party and the Labour movement in north Wales. The file includes election flyers issued in support of R. T. Jones.

The file consists of a notebook containing a personal account of a journey through North Wales undertaken in September 1963, beginning at Llyn Mair and Rhyd, and ending with Coed y Rhygen, describing scenery, geology, botanical habitats, birds, plants, natural and man-made features of the landscape, and suggestions for photographs, and a few, unrelated notes on Llangrannog and Cwmtudu. The material served as the basis for his The Snowdonia National Park published in 1966.

The precedents relate mainly to cases in Anglesey, Caernarfonshire and Merionethshire, [18 cent., second ¼]-[late 18 cent.]. The contents are listed on pp. iv-ix. An agreement to build a drain, 1829, is loose at the end of the volume (pp. 323-324).

A chronologically-arranged date index to tombstones and monuments, memorial tablets and brasses, stone-work, wood-work, glass, bells, communion plate, alms dishes, etc. in churches and to some non-ecclesiastical domestic buildings, etc., mainly in North Wales.

Notes and correspondence relating to a survey on land reclamation in North Wales, [1913x1916], to which J. Lloyd Williams contributed. Notes specifically relating to Caernarfonshire and Anglesey and North Wales grasses are also included.
