Papers, mainly literary, or genealogical in character, most of which are associated with Philip Williams 'the genealogist' (d. 1717) and his son Llewelyn (d. 1740) of Plas Dyffryn Clydach, Vale of Neath. The printed schedule (NLW, 1942) includes a pedigree of the Williams family of Plas Dyffryn Clydach. A number of the schedule entries include annotations by D. Rhys Phillips (D.R.P.), author of 'History of the vale of Neath ...' (Swansea, 1925).
