Y Maen Chwyf, [1838], being an appeal by William Price for financial aid to preserve the rocking-stone at Coedpenmaen common, Pontypridd, co Glam, which he believed to be the remains of a Druidic temple, and to establish a museum and free school there, together with a list of subscribers.

The Laws of Hywel Dda, [c. 1380], (p. 1); religious and secular prose by a number of scribes, including a brief chronicle from the arrival of Brutus in 1230 BC to 1375 (of Welsh interest) and the number of years from the flood until the current year, 1404, (p. 225); Brutus Saxonum (p. 251); and englynion (p. 270), [pre 1416, mid-15 cent.].
The date of the foundation of Cardiff is noted in the Latin text. There are some later memoranda as well.

'Y Llyfr hir or Mwythig', being a collection of five hundred and sixty-six cywyddau, etc. by various authors arranged into 'books' according to subject. The poems in each 'book' are numbered separately. The poets cited include Iolo Goch, Dafydd ap Gwilym, Siôn Cent, Iorwerth Fynglwyd, Bedo Brwynllys and Siôn Phylip. The volume is dated temp. James II (see p. 382). The text is followed by nine folios of index, arranged under authors' names, by Richard Morris. Following the index are three further poems (by Dafydd ap Gwilym, Siôn Cent and Dafydd ab Edmwnt) in the hand of the Reverend Samuel Williams.
