A copy of a transcript of a diary, 1887, containing brief entries, probably in the hand of Frederick George Wynn (1853-1894), Glynllifon, co. Caern., and mainly recording visits to and excursions with friends and relations. The original diary is now NLW MS 23140B.

Lewis Morris ('Llewelyn Ddu o Fon') family bible,

Photocopies of leaves from a copy of The Text of the New Testament... With a Confvtation...By William FVlke... (London, 1589) (Shelf No. Bs 2080 b59qto) once belonging to Lewis Morris ('Llewelyn Ddu o Fon') and later to Sir Lewis Morris (1833-1907). The leaves bear manuscript notes in the hand of Lewis Morris, including memoranda, 1729-1733, relating to the birth of the children of Lewis Morris and Elizabeth his wife, and 'englynion' ?to William Fulke.

Warrants for royal pardons,

Photocopies of warrants signed by Queen Victoria, granting pardons to Benjamin Rees ('a disorderly apprentice'), 1841, Mary Edwards (perjury), 1854, and Patrick Mochan (larceny), 1856, all convicted in co. Pemb.; together with photocopies of warrants signed by George IV granting pardons, on condition of being transported to New South Wales, to Thomas Hughes (passing counterfeit money), 1827, and David Phillips (sheep stealing), 1828, both committed to death at the Pembrokeshire Great Sessions.

Letters from 'Rebecca',

Photocopies of four threatening 'Rebecca' letters (three in Welsh and one in English), June-Sept. 1843, sent to Daniel Harris of Pantyfen, p. Llanfihangel-ar-arth, co. Carm., regarding the payment of a debt to Gwenllian Lewis of Blaengors, p. Llanpumsaint. The original letters were purchased at auction (Peter Francis, Carmarthen) by the donor in December 1995.

Photocopies of an article by Raymond Scott which appeared in an Estonian publication in September 1995, regarding The Nanteos Cup (reputed to be The Holy Grail), together with a typescript English translation by the donor.

Photocopies of six letters to the Vicomte Théodore Hersart de la Villemarqué, comprising two, 1837-1838, from the Rev. Thomas Price, 'Carnhuanawc' (see Fañch Postic, 'La Villemarque' et le Pays de Galles (1837-8), deux lettres inédites de Thomas Price', Triade 1 (1995), 15-32), and four, 1856-1861, from Thomas Stephens, Merthyr (see NLW MS 965Eii, nos 305-9, for Villemarqué's letters to Stephens).

Two items re. the Mimosa and the Welsh settlement in Patagonia,

Photocopies of the Passengers' Contract Ticket, 15 May 1865, of Abraham Matthews and his family, who sailed from Liverpool to New Bay, Patagonia, on board the 'Mimosa'; and a receipt, 16 December 1865, for one pound signed by Thomas Ellis on behalf of the Welsh settlement in Patagonia.

A photocopy of an outline of Lord Rosebery's 'Great Speech' delivered at Glasgow, 10 Sept. 1909, regarding David Lloyd George's Budget and proposed Finance Bill; and of an article, 1912, entitled 'The Decline of Mr Lloyd George'.
