A photographic copy of a Royal Charter, dated at St Briavell S December 1209, confirming to Philip, son of Wastellion, land called 'Dunwallesland' [land of Dyfnwal presumably sequestered by William de Braose who murdered Seisyll ap Dyfnwal], in exchange for feudal service and a knight's fee to the tenure of Abergavenny Castle. Offered for sale at Sotheby's, 21 June 1994, lot 80.
