Three quarter length portrait of a soldier in the Pembroke Yeomanry. The embroidered star on his lower right sleeve is a Territorial Proficiency Star awarded to Territorial Force soldiers after four (or five - depending on the colour) years proficient service.

An essay in Welsh on oratory with exercises and illustrations by Norman McLeod, Pwllheli, entered for the competition 'Llaw-lyfr ar Areithyddiaeth' at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Colwyn Bay, 1910, under the pseudonym 'Cicero'. The prize was divided between 'Cicero' and 'Ioan Aurenau' (the Reverend Levi Jones, Croesor).
