Photocopy of a notebook of David Lewis Wooding (1828-1891), of Beulah near Builth Wells, co. Brecon, shopkeeper, historian and bibliophile, containing pedigrees of the family of Penycrug, Llanafan Fawr, and of the Wooding family, and an 'autobiography, journal and register of local events', 1828-1861; loose notes by D. L. Wooding containing similar material; and items relating to D. L. Wooding including a biographical note by Mark Williams and obituaries. A large number of D. L. Wooding's notebooks are among the manuscript collection of the South Glamorgan Libraries in Cardiff Central Library.
