Bond to save £202 8s from Percy Bysshe Shelley to John Williams of Ynys y Towyn, Caernarvonshire, dated 3 December 1814; copy of the will of Richard Williams of Ty Moel, Cerrigceinwen, Anglesey, dated 22 September 1881, endorsed.

Edward Lhuyd notes and extracts (Bodleian MS 10714),

A negative photostat copy of Bodleian MS 10714 (Ms. Carte 269), ff. 1-32, 98 verso-128, 129 verso-135, containing notes and extracts written by Edward Lhuyd, [c. 1700]. The contents relate mainly to Scotland but there is also a copy of John Keigwyn's translation into English of the Cornish poem on the Passion of Christ which begins 'Tays ha mab ha Sperissars'.

Negative photostats of records relating to the wool industry mainly in Witney, Oxfordshire. They include a copy of an inventory, dated 15 September 1873, of the estate of Messrs James & Albert Collier, blanket manufacturers, Corn Street, Witney, Oxfordshire.

Crawshay family pedigree,

A negative photostat copy of a pedigree of the Crawshay family, beginning with William Crashaw of Woodhouse, Yorkshire, grandfather of Richard Crawshay, founder of Cyfarthfa Iron Works. The pedigree is signed 'Harmer Steele, 21 College Hill, London, EC.'. Kept in Pedigree Box 5.

Pattern book of William Jones, Holt, weaver. The original is Ruthin, Denbighshire Record Office, Dro PD/39/1/81.

Dame Anna Child will,

Two xerox copies of a transcript of the probate copy, dated 7 [?November] 1713, of the will of Dame Anna Child. The will was proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. The original is in TNA.

Agreements to publish Daniel Owen's novels,

Photocopies of three agreements between Daniel Owen of Mold, Flintshire, of the one part, and Charles Tudor Hughes and Albert Llewelyn Hughes of Wrexham, Denbighshire, publishers, of the other part, relating to the publication of Hunangofiant Rhys Lewis ('now run out of print'), 1886, Enoc Huws, 1891, and Gwen Tomos, 1894.

Ystrad Marchell charters,

Negative photostats of three charters granted to the abbey of Ystrad Marchell by Mareduth ap Howel, lord of Edeyrnion, 1176, Elisse ap Madoc, 1198, and Madoc ap Gruffudd, [1206]. The original charters were deposited in NLW (see NLW, Annual report 1949-50, p. 51) but later transferred to Caernarfon Record Office. The text is published in Cylch. Cym. Hughes family of Ty Mawr correspondence,

A further collection of correspondence, 1841-1884 and [n.d.], of the Hughes family of Ty Mawr, Holyhead, Anglesey. The letters are mainly addressed to William Hughes at Liverpool, and at Davenport, Iowa, and are written chiefly by members of his family. One letter, dated 6 September 1869 is written by William and Jain Bell, relations by marriage of the Hughes family. For further Hughes family of Ty Mawr correspondence, see also NLW Facs 135. A further group of photostats was donated to NLW in January 1978.
