Photocopies of three journals of Rev. Henry Morgan (1855-1934), which include recollections of the parish of Cil-y-cwm, co. Carm., where he was born; accounts of the parishes of Eglwysilan, co. Glam., where he was vicar, 1891-1903, and Newport, co. Mon., where he was rector of Holy Trinity Church, 1903-1934; accounts of holidays spent in various parts of England and Wales and abroad, 1884-1933, including a trip to Egypt and Palestine; verses in Welsh and English and two addresses in Welsh, 1918, on the parish of Eglwysilan and the vale of Tywi. Llyfr Aneurin,

Black-and-white photographs of details of Llyfr Aneirin (Cardiff Central Library MS 2.81), taken by NLW staff when the manuscript was disbound prior to rebinding at the Library in 1986 and the preparation of a facsimile. The photographs record evidence of the earlier makeup of the book, including tackets, remains of thread, stab holes and stubs. Related notes compiled by Mr Daniel Huws, Keeper of Manuscripts are now NLW ex 2119. Sampler,

A photograph, taken by Charles E. Harvey, Birmingham, of a sampler which has since disappeared, worked by Caroline Gore of Clyro in July 1868. The photograph is accompanied by a copy of the donor's covering letter, dated 15 Sept. 1990, giving the background story to the sampler which he came across during his researches into the diaries of the Reverend Francis Kilvert.
