A transcript of 'Llyfr Dafydd ab Gwilim Bardd. O Lanbadarn Fawr Yngharedigion A Ysgrifenwyd o Gwbl, gan Benjamin Simon Bardd a Henefydd O Aber Gwili: Oed Crist MDCCLIV', i.e. Aberdâr MS 2 (NLW MS 5475A), with a few additions and corrections. At the beginning is a 'Mynegair', being an alphabetical index of last syllables of opening lines of the poems. Apart from the additions and corrections, the volume is not in the hand of E. Stanton Roberts.

An imperfect composite volume largely in the hand of David Rowland, Bala, and begun by him probably in 1757. 'allan o hên lyfre Thomas Price o Blâs Iolyn Esqr'), 'Rhinwedd y Ceiliog', 'Dyma hanes Peilatus ap Jerus' ('medd llyfr Antwn o Went'), 'Dyma Hannes yn dangos fel yr aeth Joseph i brynu lliain gan Sydonia I amdoi Corph Crist', 'Dechreu Araeth Wgan', and an anecdote testified by Richard ap John 'o Llanganhafal yn nyffryn Clwyd' concerning a five years' old boy of Llanfachreth in Merioneth who in 1615 could play the harp 'yn Gynghaneddol Gowir Dane'. There is also a list, in a later hand, of preachers and their texts at a [Methodist Association, c. 1800, and an inset of 12 pp. in the hand of 'Huw ap Huw' [i.e. Hugh Hughes, 'Y Bardd Coch o Fôn' containing elegies to Lewis Morys ['Llywelyn Ddu o Fôn'] by Gronwy Owen and the scribe. The volume is lettered 'Cerddi Cymraeg'.

A composite volume containing miscellaneous prose and verse items in the hand of Edward Williams ('Iolo Morganwg'). A composite volume of collections of Welsh poetry and prose made about 1635. The title is derived from the third section which contains a number of poems to members of the Wynn family of Moelyrch in Llansilin. Amongst the poets represented are Hywel Cilan, Tudur Aled, Rhys Cain, Gruffudd Hiraethog, Sion Cain, Guto'r Glyn, Edmwnd Prys, Lewis Glyn Cothi, Iolo Goch, Cynddelw Brydydd Mawr, Iorwerth Fynglwyd, Taliesin, Dafydd ap Gwilym, Dafydd Nanmor and Wiliam Cynwal. Miscellaneous material in the volume includes a copy of an award relating to Moelyrch, 1540; a fragment of a letter by Charles I; the pedigrees of Oliver Cromwell, Holland and Morris, and Kyffin of Bodfach; a roll of the Caerwys Eisteddfod, 1567; an extract from 'Breuddwyd Rhonabwy'; a list of the sheriffs of Denbighshire from 1541 to 1635, with additions to 1658; a copy of documents relating to the treaty of alliance concluded between Charles VI of France and Owain Glyndŵr; extracts from the epigrams of John Owen; and extracts from scripture.

A fragment (pp. 21-8, 33-8, 52-7, 62-3, and four unnumbered folios) of a manuscript collection of Welsh poetry including the end of an ode by Richard Cynwal, 1632, and 'cywyddau' by Siôn Cent, Moris Roberts, Ellis Rowlant, John Davies, Rowland Price, Dafydd Nanmor, and Siôn Phylip.

An early seventeenth century manuscript, fragile, written c. 1611-1621 and possibly earlier by Roger Williams, clerk, rector of the parish of St. Nicholas, co. Glamorgan [the scribe of parts of Llanstephan MS 41] and containing pedigrees, Welsh poetry, medical and veterinary recipes, etc. Roger Williams [TLLM, 41n, 213-4] was the son of Roger William of Prisk [in the parish of Llanddunwyd (Welsh St. Donats)] and he married Elinor Rees [daughter of Rhys Amheurug (Rees Merrick)]: his pedigree is on p. 27 of this manuscript (cf. Llanstephan MS 41, p. 173). A folio or folios are wanting at the beginning and someone has written the words 'The Isue [sic] of Gruffydd fawr [De Radyr]' opposite the first page (p. 4). The contents, except where otherwise stated, consist of genealogical data relating to the persons or places specified as follows: p. 8, part of an account mentioning Pwllymyn, etc.; 9, the issue of Lle'n ap Kynwrige; 10, a 'cywydd' by Rys Brychan; 12, a 'cywydd' by Howel ap Davyd ap Ievan ap Rees; 14, mention of William Thomas, son of Thomas Gwilim Jenkin of Gwern ddy in the parish of St. Brids near Abergenvenye [sic]; 16, a copy of a general release, 1613, from Elizabeth Howell of Welshe St. Donettes, co.
