Holograph poetry, largely in the form of 'englynion', by Owen Williams ('Owain Gwyrfai'), Waunfawr, co. Caernarvon. The volume is indexed. At the end are copies, in another hand, of verses entitled 'My Native Land' ('Fe gyfansoddwyd y gân hon gan Mr. Robert Jones gynt Tailor & Draper Caernarfon, yr hwn a ymfudodd ir America y flwyddyn 1839') and 'Mae Gwyrddlas Fryn' ('Cyfieithiad o There is a Green Hill Faraway'). Inset is a holograph letter from Thos William David Jones [sic], wheelwright, Llanrhaiadr, near Oswestry, [18]51 (a request for the words and tune of the 'A.B.C.').

'Carolau', 'cerddi', etc., most of them composed and written c. 1844-1878 by Lewis Robart ('Llywelun Ddu Myirion'), who describes himself in 1844 as 'Gwasneuthudd yn y Gorllwyn'.

An incomplete volume of free- and strict-metre poetry in the hand of, and largely by, David Thomas ('Dafydd Ddu Eryri') of Waunfawr, Caernarvonshire. The dated poems belong to the years 1782-1785, 1800, and 1808. Among the titles are: 'Can a gyfansoddwyd yn Niwedd y Gauaf 1783 Sef Gwahoddiad ir Prydyddion ddyfod ir Bettws bach Noswyl Fair'; 'Penill i Ferch Iefangc' and 'Y Ferch yn Atteb' by J. A scrap-book of John Lloyd James (Clwydwenfro), Congregational minister at March, Cambridgeshire, etc. The volume was compiled during the period 1856-1884 and consists largely of original poetry and a few translations by 'Clwydwenfro', in the form of holograph copies, printed sheets, and press cuttings. Tawelfryn Thomas, and 'Englynion i Ardalydd Môn' by [?William Williams (Gwilym Caledfryn), Dinbych]; a typescript copy of englynion entitled 'Anerch awen yn [oed]fa anrhegu y Parch. Tawelfryn Thomas ar ei ymddiswyddiad o fod yn weinidog Eglwys y Groeswen', [1926]; and a copy of the words of an English song entitled 'My Little Welsh Home', the words and music of which had been written by W. S. Gwynn Williams.

A notebook containing prose and poetry compositions, 1856-1858, mostly in Welsh, by the Reverend John Lloyd James ('Clwydwenfro', 1835-1919). Notes of publication in Welsh newspapers and periodicals, 1856-1857, are appended to some of the compositions.
