Correspondence, 1859-1904, relating to the trial, sentence and pardon of Sir Thomas Love Duncombe Jones Parry (1832-1891) for assaulting a Spanish sentry at the entrance to the gates of La Linea, near Gibraltar, 14 January 1859, together with the speech of counsel for the defence, copies of petitions for the mitigation of the death sentence and a copy of a letter expressing Jones Parry's gratitude to the mayor and citizens of Algeciras for their sympathy.

Letters and newspaper cuttings relating to the visit which Sir Thomas Marchant Williams (1845-1914) paid to Canada in 1913. Most of the letters are addressed to Henry Blackwell (1851-1928), New York, who preserved and bound them.
