Notebook containing autograph drafts, September 1966, of a series of eight lectures entitled 'Modern Poetry Lectures', apparently given by Vernon Watkins at the University College of Swansea.
The lecture notes contain references to various poets, in particular T. S. Eliot (ff. 2-16 passim), W. B. Yeats (ff. 3-31 passim), D. H. Lawrence (ff. 17-24), Wilfred Owen (ff. 24, 26-31) and David Jones (ff. 24-28). Excerpts from the notes were published in Poetry Wales, 12.4 (Spring 1977), 52-55.

Research notes and a draft catalogue of the worksheets of In Parenthesis and The Anathemata by David Jones compiled at the Library in 1981, together with a list of letters by Tony Stoneburner, 1977, a catalogue of parts of the archive by Harman Grisewood, and a Catalogue of the artist's drawings and papers in the possession of the David Jones Trustees in 1992, prepared by Matilda and Douglas Hall.

Papers, [1978]-[2001], including his introduction to an exhibition of paintings by Derwent Wise: 'Northumberland landscapes', 1996; an extract of his talk 'Coming home' given at the 1993 conference of Welsh Union of Writers published in their newsletter; a photocopy of his review of The Gododdin by Desmond O'Grady, 1978, published in Books Ireland; and a note 'David Jones and demotic Roman lettering'.

A file, apparently compiled, [1986x1987], by John G. Gallagher, relating mainly to BBC radio adaptations of In Parenthesis, 1964, The Sleeping Lord, 1981, and The Anathemata, 1953 and 1978, by David Jones, containing transcripts of the adaptations and also including transcripts and cuttings from newspapers and periodicals relating to the historical background to In Parenthesis and to David Jones and his work in general.
