Evans, Principal of UCW Aberystwyth, and published in the Western Mail, discussing what the beneficiaries under the Welsh Church Acts of 1914 and 1919 can do with the capital sum of approximately £2.75m. which they are about to receive.

A bundle of letters and papers addressed to Charles Dillwyn-Venables-Llewelyn, dated mainly 1904-5, concerning the Newbridge-on-Wye National School. There are papers from the Board of Education, papers and letters from the L.E.A., statistics regarding school attendance and information about the state of the school building and letters concerning these matters from various persons including J. M. Gibson-Watt, John Owen, the Bishop of Llandaf and some local clergy, and also from local tradesmen concerning repairs to the school.

Evans, the vicar of Llanyre and one from the Bishop of St Davids (500), correspondence connected with the bell for the church, given by Susan Venables with diagrams and price lists from the firm which supplied it, and a letter 28 July, 1875, from the firm responsible for erecting the church. A letter from George S. Venables to his sister-in-law, Mrs R. L. Venables, concerning the cost of the burial ground.
