Is glad to hear that Tegid's englyn has been properly printed in the second part of the printed work connected with the Cardiff Eisteddfod. Mr David Saunders is in Cardiganshire and appears, the writer understands, very ill and worn out by age. Has read the advertisement respecting poor Gwilym Morganwg (in the Merthyr Guardian) and hopes something will be sent in worthy of the poor Bard.

She hopes her mother will send her some money as soon as possible. Family news - her uncle is in Northumberland where he has commenced operations in his new situation. She supposes her father has not come home (? from Aberpergwm) - she hopes the change has done him good. How the river overflowing its banks came in last Sunday, so that the kitchen had to be evacuated.

Hoping that the addressee's worthy father is well as he is an old correspondent of the writer's, 'place my name in your Title Page when you print.'.
J. Williams, Trinity Parsonage, to [Taliesin Williams], He feels exceedingly obliged by the addressee's kind letter and promise. He found the other day in Dr Pugh's Dict. under Gweddi the Prayer of Talhaiarn which is there as follows. He presumes that it is here entire, if not he would be glad to be informed when the addressee has discovered it among his papers. He finds that EW and Dr Pugh maintained that the Druids for some time officiated as Christian Ministers under the Gospel - could the addressee refer him to any facts or traditions which may corroborate this point? Merddin and his exposure of the monks. In Dr Pugh's Dictionary under Grawys he finds Grawys Mair and Grawys Ebystyl - could the addressee refer him to the documents in which such terms are used?.

As she has been informed that he is not well in health, asking him to write a few lines by return of post informing her how he is - she did not hear till Friday having been from home for a month at Dr Bates', St Brides . Requesting him to send four of the books (en)titled 'The Cardiff Castle'to Mr Peth(e)rick's by next Monday as she intends to be there to meet him. She will be glad to know how her sister is after her confinement - is informed she has a son. She has had no opportunity of sending the boxes to Cowbridge or Cardiff but will have them ready by the time ('again') the addressee comes. Since she left St Brides she finds her health much better and lodges with Thos Jenkins, Flemingstone.
She arrived here on Wednesday night. She likes this place very much and is very happy. 'Aunt and Elizabeth are going to Cornwall to see Cousins at school.' On the dorse is a note from E. P. (? Elizabeth Petherick). Margaret is quite well and happy, and in no hurry to return to Merthyr. The writer is off tomorrow for Swansea on her way to Cornwall.
