Voucher of James Hamlyn Williams, by the hands of James Bowen and others, in connection with expenses of the parliamentary election for co. Carmarthen (James Hamlyn Williams v. William Paxton), e.g. dinners, ale, bread and cheese, journeys to Llandilo, etc., summoning of voters to dinners, bread distributed among the poor at voters' dinner at Llanboidy, replacement of a great coat and of a saddle and bridle lost at Llandilo. No. 3675, preserved in the same bundle, is a receipt to James Bowen from John Edwards, 20 June, 1802, for £5.5s., being a subscription by James Hamlyn Williams, esq., towards building the chapel at Llanboidy village.
