Agreement between William Herbert of Troy, esq., and Thomas Herbert of Sherenewton, gent., arising from the release by Thomas Herbert to William Herbert of a yearly rent of 7s. 4d. out of a tenement with certain parcels of land in the parish of Wolfesnewton late of William ap Hoell ap Jankyn and Johan, his wife, and of 30s. of yearly rent out of a tenement with certain parcels of land lying together in the parish of Wolfesnewton, late of Thomas ap John ap Meuric, and his covenant with his wife Katherine under obligation of £40 to release William Herbert there from by fine in the Court of Uske when he shall be required, that if Thomas Herbert or Katherine pay William Herbert £20 at the Nativity of St John, 1512, William Herbert will deliver again to Thomas Herbert the said deed or release, and shall yearly pay to Thomas Herbert the aforesaid rents.
