Letters to Gwyneth Lewis from family, friends, literary associates, universities, and media and insurance companies concerning personal, social, literary, academic, professional and domestic matters, especially her life and work at Harvard and in New York and her travels around the United States, together with a notebook, postcards, press cuttings, photographs, leaflets, theatre programmes, student newsletters and a map of Florence; also included are a typescript transcript and offprint of an interview with Italo Calvino by Ian Thomson, some papers relating to Elin ap Hywel (including a typescript of poems by her, a typescript of poems inspired by her work, and a typescript of a short story dedicated to her), typescripts of poems by others, and some postcards relating to Gwyneth Lewis but sent between her friends.

Letters and cards to Gwyneth Lewis from friends, family, university staff, literary contacts and private companies, and postcards from Gwyneth Lewis to her parents, concerning personal, literary, social, academic, career, family and domestic matters, including her published work, the possibility of publishing a collection of her poetry, her editorial activities with Poetry Wales, her life in Cambridge, her applications for work and courses, and her move to Harvard; a letter from Tom Earley also includes typescript copies of two of his poems.

Draft manuscript letters and photocopies of letters written by Gwyneth Lewis to family, friends and literary and academic associates concerning personal, social, literary, musical and academic matters relating to her time as a student at Balliol College, Oxford; also included are newsletters of the Oxford Poetry Society and a photocopy of a manuscript review of ‘Mynd lawr i’r nefoedd’ by Menna Elfyn that was written by Gwyneth Lewis for publication.

Papers relating to a lecture on Anglo-Welsh poetry by Tony Curtis, which include poetry by Anglo-Welsh writers such as Dylan Thomas, R. S. Thomas, Robert Minhinnick and Harri Webb, and printed leaflet relating to the Centre for the Study of Welsh Writing in English at the Polytechnic of Wales (for which see under heading Polytechnic of Wales: Centre for the Study of Welsh Writing in English and November 2018 papers under the same heading).

Material for lectures compiled by Tony Curtis titled 'The Life of the Poem', dated 23 May 1995 and comprising photocopied rough manuscript drafts and photocopied printed poems by Curtis.
