The production, which features actor Paul McGann, is based on the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley's involvement with political upheaval in Ireland during the early years of the 19th century.

C. Swinburne, 'Daffodils' to words by William Wordsworth, nocturnes, a dirge to words by P. B. Shelley, carols, works influenced by Chopin, part songs, a composition to words by Alfred Lord Tennyson, etc.
