Interspersed among the items already noted are miscellaneous notes relating to Welsh literary, bardic, and antiquarian matters, lists of Welsh words, brief lists of miscellaneous Welsh triads, stanzas of English and Welsh verse, etc. Some of the notes are written on the blank verso, the margins, and even across the face of copies of a printed handbill issued by Henry Walters, March 1784, advertising his printing office in the town of Cowbridge, printed proposals, 1762, for the publication by the Cymmrodorion Society of a 'Natural History of the Quadrupeds and Birds of Great Britain and Ireland', a printed handbill (undated) setting forth the programme, etc. of a 'Society for the preservation of the remains of ancient British Literature . . . and for the encouragement of the National Music', etc.

Nineteen letters, 1790-1796, written by Lady Anne Erskine, appointed by Selina, Countess of Huntingdon, as her successor at Trevecca, to Thomas Haweis, 'Father of the South Seas Mission', and a receipt by Lady Erskine to Dr. Haweis for a loan of £100 with an assignment of her right to the sum of £100 left her by a codicil to the will of her 'very dear friend Jenetta Paine Haweis' in the event of her failure to repay the loan.

Letters, 1691-1909, of miscellaneous provenance, to and from bishops, mostly of Welsh dioceses, and other dignitaries relating mainly to social, personal and church matters. Among the correspondents are John Randolph, bishop of Bangor (1) [c. 1807]; Edward Copleston (1) 1844, Joshua Pritchard Hughes (1) 1909, Richard Lewis (1) 1901, Alfred Ollivant (4) 1849-1858, and John Shipley (1) 1769, bishops of Llandaf; John Owen (3) 1897-1899, and Connop Thirlwall (7) 1845-1871, bishops of St Davids; Edmund Gibson, bishop of London (2) 1731; Samuel Butler, headmaster of Shrewsbury School, later bishop of Lichfield (2) 1834; and Cardinal Herbert Vaughan, archbishop of Westminster (3) 1886-1893. Also included is a letter, 1790, from Selina Hastings, countess of Huntingdon.

Letters and papers relating to the Reverend Peter Williams (1723-96), including two holograph letters, 19 May 1789 and 27 June 1789, fom Peter Williams writing from Carmarthen and Gelly to his son, the Reverend Eliezer Williams at Lord Galloway's, Galloway House, Scotland; a holograph sermon in Welsh by Peter Williams on Isa. 63, 4; other holograph items consisting of verses headed 'Antichristian Tradition' and (?) part of a poem entitled 'Babilon's fall', part of a draft of a letter to Mr Jones of Llan Gan, a draft of a letter concerning bull-baiting, a draft of a letter [?1777] to [Lady Huntingdon], and drafts of a letter to [ ] praying that a day of humiliation be appointed and of a letter to an unnamed person inviting him to subscribe to the writer's edition of Cann's Bible; a letter, 1834, from William Jones, [Llan Engan], to an unnamed person containing references to the persecution and excommunication of Peter Williams; a notebook in the autograph of Peter Bailey Williams containing a 'Copy of a Letter from the late Reverend Peter Williams to the Methodist Association about 1793', a letter (copy) from [Peter Williams] 'to the Revd Mr Jones of Llan Gann. Glam:', writings by Peter Williams on the Trinity including one 'To the Leaders of the Welsh Methodists on the Trinity: or rather the author of a Pamphlet on that subject', and two other letters from Peter Williams to the Association, one in Welsh, the other in English, etc.; letters to J. H. A volume (watermark 1832), containing transcripts, [1832x1845], in an unknown hand, of correspondence, 1763-1774, of Evan Lloyd, the poet and satirist of Frondderw, Bala.
The transcripts include twelve letters from Lloyd to a number of correspondents, including his father John, 1763-1769 (ff. 9 recto-verso, 14 verso-18 verso, 21-24, 28 verso-29), his brother Robert, 1763-1768 (ff. 10 verso-12, 27 recto-verso), William Price, Rhiwlas, 1768 (ff. 25-26), and David Garrick, [1770x1774] (ff. 54 verso-56 verso), together with thirteen letters addressed to Lloyd from Garrick, [1764]-1774 (ff. 13 recto-verso, 36 verso-37, 46-47 verso), Sir John Fielding, 1769-[1771] (ff. 30, 35-36), William Vaughan, Corsygedol, 1770 (ff. 33 verso-34), J[ohn] Curre [of Itton Court], [?1766]-[?1773] (ff. 38-39 verso, 50-53 verso), and others. Also included are transcripts of poems by Lloyd (ff. 40-44), an epitaph by Garrick for William Hogarth (f. 37) and a 1784 letter from Selina Hastings, Countess of Huntingdon, to a Mr Evans (f. 45). The letters are not amongst those reproduced in Cecil Price, 'The Unpublished Letters of Evan Lloyd', National Library of Wales Journal, 8 (1953-54), 264-305, 426-448. Each letter bears a note stating that the transcript was 'copied from the original in the possession of Wm Roberts Esqr Surgeon Carnarvon', and each bears the signature of 'O. Jones' (probably Owen Jones, general agent, who was town steward of Caernarfon, 1835-1850).
