A collection largely of printed matter from the library of John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd'), including prospectuses of his Gleanings from God's Acre (Pwllheli, 1903), Enwogion Sir Gaernarfon (Caernarfon, 1922) and 'The Works of Bards of Llyn and Eifionydd'; a printed copy review (o'r "Drych") of Enwau Lleoedd Sir Gaernarfon (Caernarfon, [1913]); press cuttings, with some annotations, entitled 'Hela hen Eiriau' (by [J. Spinther James] 'Spinther'), 'George Borrow,' 'Edward Ellis, Dinbych' (by John Edwards, Rosendale, Wis.), 'William W. Lewis, Ysw.' The file comprises card index entries covering Condry's own writing, photographs, bibliographies and other literary sources, birds, fish, animals, insects, plants, trees, habitats, climate, important figures such as George Borrow and Thoreau, and places of interest, with a section specifically about Ynys-hir. Some notes are quite detailed, accompanied by relevant cuttings and correspondence, which includes letters from Prof. E. G. Bowen, 1982, regarding St Beuno and Bardsey, Arthur Chater, 1963, 1992, on history books of Welsh interest and a plant species, Pip Miles on entomology, 1958, 1975, Derek [Ratcliffe], 1981, mainly concerning peregrine falcons, H. R. H. ('Taff') Vaughan, 1976-1977, on the history of local industries, and Irene ('Benjamin') Vaughan (1976), on the wild service tree.
