The marginal heading is 'Manor of Monmouth with members'. Up to 17 May 1691 Henry Milborne of Llanrothal, esq., is the chief steward, with Charles Milborne and Thomas Jones, and, later, John Price, acting as his deputy on various occasions. Thereafter, John Price of Trewew, co. Mon., gent., is described as chief steward, with William price once acting as his deputy. Of the forty-four items, twelve are on parchment and thirty-two on paper. The lands are described as in the parishes of Llangattock vibon Avel, St Maughans, Rochfield, the hamlets of Dixton and Orlaston, the parish of Monmouth, and the town of Monmouth. 44 Items, some slightly mutilated, but generally in good condition.
