The file comprises papers, 1854-1856, in the matter of arbitration between William Rees of Velindre, p. Pencarreg, co. Card., farmer, and his brother David Rees of Cae Glas, p. Lampeter, before the Court of Queen's Bench. Arbitrators had awarded £107 to William Rees following a dispute over 'certain accounts, claims and demands', but the defendant refused to pay the same.

Documents collected by Col. Sir John Conway Lloyd, including over a thousand deeds, 1323-1870, relating to properties in the counties of Brecon, Glamorgan, Hereford, Monmouth, Radnor, Cardigan, Carmarthen, Gloucester, and London; together with various documents, including letters and papers relating to the Lloyd family and other estates. A substantial group of Dinas Estate records has been transferred to the Maybery Collection.

A letter, 22 November 1763, from Thomas Allcocks, at Garreg [or Carreg] lead mine, in the vicinity of Talybont, Cardiganshire, to an unidentified recipient, giving news relating to lead and other mineral mining in the area.

Jones and family who emigrated in 1878 from Cardiganshire to Jackson County, Ohio, together with copies of letters from America and from relations in Wales and poetry entered in a literary meeting in Oak Hill, 1893, together with a copy of an undated photoghraph of Stephen and Anna (Morgan) Jones taken in Jackson.
