The series comprises other letters and cards, [1932]-1979, received by Rhys Davies which include Christmas cards, letters relating to the estate of Redvers and Louise Taylor, letters from researchers, letters relating to the sale of his manuscripts, letters from admirers, letters relating to awards given to him and letters from Yr Academi Gymreig and Welsh Arts Council.

The series comprises correspondence, 1998, relating to the work of the committee and correspondence with officials, advisers, panellists and members of the public, 1998-2000, concerning matters arising from the launch of the National Assembly for Wales architectural competition.

The series comprises letters, 1934-1946, from Jennifer, mainly to her family, giving personal and domestic news and describing her experiences and activities at Headington School, Oxford, and Penrhos College, Bakewell, Derbyshire.

Correspondence

The series comprises letters, 1964-2001, addressed to Lord Cledwyn of Penrhos, sometimes interspersed with copies of his replies. The correspondence is strongly political, much concerning his work within the House of Lords. A number refer to requests for political honours. Some of the letters refer to events in Anglesey, some from his former constituents, including invitations to attend numerous events. Some letters discuss the affairs of the University of Wales which Lord Cledwyn served as Pro-Chancellor. There are also a number of letters from the media, including requests for contributions to radio and television broadcasts and interviews. Some letters are requests from academics and students for assistance with their research projects.

Correspondence relating to the Cymmrodorion's memorandum 'Wales and the Armed Forces', prepared by Brigadier E. O. Skaife on behalf of the Society and presented to the Welsh Parliamentary Party on 4 November 1946, requesting that the War Office should set up permanent Welsh formations and units in the post-war organization of the armed forces

Board of Education Correspondence

The series comprises letters addressed to O. M. Edwards as Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales, drafts and copies of some letters despatched by him, together with other related papers. There are many letters from prominent Welsh figures. Most of the early letters relate to the establishment of the Welsh Department of the Board of Education. Most letters relate to inspections of individual schools, the policies and activities of the Board of Education at Whitehall, local education authorities, the appointment of teachers, and the teaching of individual subjects.

The series comprises correspondence between HFJ and Ann Ellen Williams, 1899-1933; correspondence relating to Ann's career, 1893-1899, and letters of sympathy to her following the death of her husband, 1949-1950. Also included is other family correspondence, 1894-1957, including letters to their daughter, Gwerfyl.

The series comprises letters and enclosures relating to the creation and preservation of plant and wildlife habitats from various organisations, specifically the National Trust, regarding the possible acquisition of a traditional hay meadow at Penybont, Powys, The West Wales Naturalists' Trust, mainly in connection with an appeal to to save the habitat of wild orchids, and the Wildfowl Trust, in a letter written by Peter Scott, concerning the possible creation of a wildfowl reserve on the Dovey estuary
