Extracts from published sources, lists, notes, etc., relating to various historical and antiquarian subjects, [1656], 1693, [1761], [late 19 cent.]. Original material includes a description, dated 1795, of how the predecessors of the Tanat family were awarded the Broniarth charter in return for the capture of Lord Cobham in 1417; and substantial annotations by W.W.E. Wynne to a list of Caernarfonshire sheriffs, with a covering letter and genealogical enquiry to William Ormsby-Gore, 1832. Also of interest is a roll of casualties in Major Bringhurst 's troop at Waterloo, 1815.

The manuscript is in two parts. The first contains an English poem entitled 'Faction Display'd', temp. Queen Anne; an account of the Vaughan family of Corsygedol mainly transcribed by Angharad Llwyd, with an original rental of the Corsygedol estate, 1637; a transcript by W. W. E. Wynne of Powell of Ednope's 'Pentarchia' from a manuscript at Brogyntyn, with a letter by the Rev. Robert Williams, Rhydycroesau. The second part comprises a booklet of extracts from a manuscript at Porkington (now Brogyntyn MS 14) in the hand of Lewis Anwyl relating to the families of Anwyl of Park and Owen of Porkington and Clenennau. Peniarth MS 440ii was published by W. W. E. Wynne in Montgomeryshire Collections Vol. IX (1876), pp. 357-64.

Printed pedigrees of the family of Eure of Easby, Ingleby, Witton and Malton; the descent of Robert Aglionby Slaney, esq., from King Edward III, and of his daughter, Mary Slaney, who married W. W. E. Wynne, together with a proof copy with corrections in the hand of W. W. E. W.; a manuscript pedigree of the Foley family; and verses entitled 'The Shropshire Bouquet'.

A volume containing a schedule compiled, [early 1820s] (Watermark 1820), with additions and notes, [c. 1844]-[c. 1869], in the hand of W. W. E. Wynne, Peniarth, of the title deeds, 1283-1842, of the Brogyntyn estate, relating to properties in Merionethshire (ff. 1-34 verso), Caernarvonshire (ff. 39 verso-64 verso), Shropshire (ff. 70 verso-101 verso), Denbighshire (ff. 107-112 verso), Montgomeryshire (ff. 119-122 verso) and Cornwall (f. 123 verso), and of wills, 1540-1774, relating to Merionethshire, Caernarvonshire, Shropshire, Denbighshire and Flintshire (ff. 130-138).
Papers found loose in the volume have been tipped in on ff. 139-144.

'A Discourse of the Pedigree of Percys and Stanley' (ff. 1-21); notes by W. W. E. Wynne on Welsh manuscripts in the Catalogue of Additional MSS in the British Museum (ff. 22-8 verso); and a letter, dated 5 November 1859, from Joseph Morris, Shrewsbury to W. W. E. Wynne concerning the date of Owain Glyndwr's death (f. 29).
The following note occurs on f. 21 verso: 'Copies of Manucsripts &c at Penbedw in Denbighshire concerning the Families of Percy and Stanley'.

An interleaved copy of The History of the Gwydir Family by Sir John Wynn ... Ruthin: 1827, with manuscript notes by W. W. E. Wynne, a press cutting and offprints, transcripts of letters and poems, original documents, and a grant of spiritual privileges by Robert, abbot of Enlly (Bardsey), 1464.

Lists of the high sheriffs of Anglesey, Caernarvonshire, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Merionethshire and Montgomeryshire taken from Y Gwyliedydd, with other manuscript lists and notes by W. W. E. Wynne, and a list of Denbighshire sheriffs written in 1595 and continued to 1601. Also included are a form of sheriff's patent for Rhys Milton, Merionethshire, drawn at Westminster, 29 January 1547; a licence, 20 May 1530, granted to 'Mredd. ap Hulkin Loid' to build a water mill at Dinlle; and a copy of letters patent drawn at Westminster appointing Rhys Vaughan Sheriff of Merionethshire, 27 November 1547.

Llŷn and Eifionydd pedigrees transcribed by John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd'). The following note in pencil occurs on the first page: 'Copiwyd yr oll o'r Llyfr hwn o Lewis Dwn'. Loose in the volume is a pedigree of Anwyl of Parkie, Criccieth in the autograph of W[illia]m W. E. Wynne of Peniarth, 1878. Letter 'O' on spine.
