The Gift of Tongues,

Autograph manuscript of 'The Gift of Tongues' by Arthur Machen, which was presented by the author to Major Albert Addams-Williams, Llangibby Castle, together with a proof copy of the same, and a covering letter, 8 December 1927, from the author to Major Addanms-Williams. This tale was published in the Christmas 1927 number of T.P.'s Weekly and describes an extraordinary service conducted by the Rev.Thomas Beynon at Bryn Sion Methodist Church, Treowen, Monmouthshire, on Christmas Day, 1870.
