Heraldry,

Illustrated transcripts of a treatise and notes on heraldry. The volume bears the name of Miss Jane Goldwyer, 25 March, 1819. Inset are a poem describing the equipage of knights riding in procession to a joust, and a stanza by Bishop [Benjamin] Hoadley entitled 'On a Spring near Stourton'.

An account book, 1810-1817, and vouchers, 1809-1818, of John Bateman, Haverfordwest, recording disbursements (wages, etc.) in respect of the farm of Llwynbedw, parish of Llan-y-cefn, co. Pembroke. The account book (NLW MS 11808iA) was originally used to record a few legal costs of the period 1780-1787.

Executorship accounts,

Accounts and vouchers, 1820-1822, relating to the executorship of Thomas Phillips, vicar of West Haroldston and perpetual curate of Lambston, co. Pembroke. Among them are a statement of the proceeds of the parishes of Lambston and West Haroldston which the Reverend J[oh]n Andros, successor to Thomas Phillips, consents to share with the executors, and an estimate of sundry repairs required to be done at the chancel and glebe at Lambstone and Haroldstone. The papers are contained in a notebook from which all but one (dated 1771) of the manuscript leaves have been cut away. Written on the end papers of the notebook are London addresses of John Allen of Dale Castle and others.

Material from the library of the Reverend John Lloyd, Brunant, Cayo, relating almost entirely to late eighteenth and early nineteenth century parliamentary elections for the county of Carmarthen and for the county of the borough of Carmarthen. They consist of poetry, including 'An Essay on the Characters &c. of the Governors of the Boro' of Carmarthen', 1789, 'From plain Truth addressed ... to the Cambrian Sappho' by Mrs. [Maria Justina] Cowell, 1802, 'The Carmarthenshire Parson and a Freeholder. A Dialogue' by [Lewis] Lewis, rector of Clovelly, 1802, etc.; a state of the poll for the hundred of Cayo in the Carmarthenshire election, 16 July - 2 August 1802; holograph and autograph letters, 1807, of Herbert Lloyd, Carmarthen, [Lord] Robert Seymour, Llandilo, and Danl. Price, Junior, Talley; addresses to the Freeholders of the county of Carmarthen by 'A Freeholder', 1807, and to Lord D[ynevor] by 'A Carmarthenshire Freeholder', undated; and printed matter including a poem entitled 'County of the borough of Carmarthen.
