Devises m's and land called Maesynharad, p. Dolgelley, to his friend Zacheus Jones of Bryntirion, co. Caern., esq., in trust for 500 years and to the use of the testator's sister, Catherine Price, for life, and her heirs, and thereafter to Lewis Nanney of Llwyn, co. Mer. Debts are also to be paid, particularly £52 owed to Lewis Nanney. Attached: 'A Schedule of the debts of Mr John Pryse of Maesyngarad, dec., which Lewis Nanney, gent., paid as directed by his will.'.

Caern.; all his railway shares in the London and Birmingham and Great Western Railways to his youngest daughter, Catherine; requests his wife to pay over to his second daughter, Anne Jones, the debt of £9,000 and interest owed by the testator to his wife and which has been held in trust for Catherine Jones. Devises all his m's and lands in town and p. Dolgelley, and Tynyffordd, p. Llanycnil, co. Mer., to his wife Anne Owen, and all his interest in a brig called Mervinia belonging to the port of Barmouth to his son Rice Owen Jones. Recites deed no. 134 of 1 Nov. 1779. Codicil dated 19 Sept. 1825. Devisee has sold Clogwynne, p. Dolgelley, for £120 and has purchased 25 acres called Pen y bwlch coch, p. Dolgelley, which he devises to his wife. See also no. 51.
