A. Masey, 1867, about Hafod-y-llan slate quarry. The papers also include evidence [c.1870s] by him on slate quarries in the neighbourhood of the proposed Merioneth railway from Ffestiniog to join the Cambrian Railway at Talsarnau; several items, presumably intended for publication in the local press, including reminiscences of 'Ysgol Pentre'r Felin', 'Ysgol Tremadoc', ‘Yr Eisteddfod’, ‘Maddeuant’, etc. Copy of W.
