The series comprises letters, valedictory address and a printed book with manuscript additions, 1876-1902, relating to the Presbyterian College, Carmarthen.

The sub-fonds consists of correspondence, diaries, sermons and notes, 1802-1967, of various members of the family, relating mainly to Unitarianism.

The series comprises a statement by the Rev. John Jones, March 1833, 'of the origin and progress of the misunderstanding existing between the members of the once united and friendly congregation at Pantydefaid in the parish of Llandysul, Cardiganshire'. Also included is a transcript, in Rev. Simon Jones's hand, of one page of the statement.

Pantlluast was sold in 1763 for £16 by John Jenkin of Rhydlydan, p. Llanarth, and his brother Rees Jenkin of Clettwr, to their brother Griffith Jenkin of Esgairwen Fawr, Llanarth. The tmt which measured 12 acres was bounded on the east by Clettwr, on the west by a tmt called Pant Ca Duon, on the north by Esgeronw, and on the south by the road leading from Lampeter to Newcastle Emlyn called Fordd y Gâr. Apart from this conveyance the deeds in this bundle are all agreements to lease, 1872-1916, by which time Pantlluast was owned by Rev. Rees Jenkin Jones of Aberdare, co. Glam., Unitarian minister.

The series comprises papers, [1898 x 1905], which relate to the principles of Unitarianism, including an article, 'Dechreuad a chynydd Undodiaeth yng Nghymru' which was published in Y Geninen, July 1905.

The series consists of notes, [c. 1877]-1919, relating to the history of the Old Meeting House (Hen Dŷ Cwrdd), Aberdare; together with reports, 1908, from Unitarian churches relating to attendances; press cuttings, 1877, concerning the Llwynrhydowen eviction in 1876 and notes on ministers of Merthyr Tydfil and Cefncoedycymer.

The file consists of notes, [1870-1878], which were apparently written by the Rev. Rees Jenkin Jones whilst preparing Emynau o fawl a gweddi published in 1878.

T̂he series comprises papers and articles, [c. 1880]-1899, by her on the role of women in society, especially women's suffrage, temperance issues and literary subjects.

2 Alma Terrace was originally a spot of ground, part of a farm called Gadlys Ucha, in p. Aberdare, co. Glam., bounded on the west side by a yard belonging to the Hirwaun meeting house and on the south by a road leading from the said meeting house to Gadlys Ucha. In 1802 the piece of ground was leased for 99 years by Richard Richards of the village of Aberdare to Thomas Morgan of the same. There were further assignments in 1804 and 1862, until it was finally assigned in 1892 to David James Jones of Tregynon, Aberdare, draper.

The series comprises a volume of hymn tunes arranged by Anne Griffiths.

The file comprises letters of sympathy on the death of Mrs Rees Jenkin Jones, 1899, together with papers relating to the funeral and a list of those who sent their condolences.

John James, Gellionnen, by the congregation of Pantydefaid Chapel, Llandysul, to be their minister.
