[Soldier and his wife]

A studio portrait of a soldier wearing the 1916 economy tunic photographed with, presumably, his wife. She is seated on a rustic chair whilst he is standing behind her. Possibly he has been conscripted into the army. No indication of regiment / unit.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Two soldiers, one a bandsman]

Full-length studio portrait of two privates, one in the uniform of a bandsman. The private in standard uniform is wearing the Imperial Service badge implying that he is a member of a territorial unit.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Corporal in Khaki Drill.]

Copy photograph of a studio portrait of a corporal in Khaki Drill. The name of the original photographer is partially obscured. Evidence from the design of the original mount and the plinth on which his pith helmet rests suggests that the originalphoto was taken in a studio in the Middle East.

[The Likely Lads]

Studio portrait of two privates and a corporal in the Pembroke Yeomanry. The private in the centre of the photo holds a bugle and wears a bugler's trade badge.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.
