In consideration of five thousand pounds paid to him by the said Earl of Bristoll, the said Bussy Mansell demises to Sir Thomas Hanmer and James Reynolds all his manors and properties in the several parishes and hamlets of Aberavon, Baglan, Bettus, Cadoxton-iuxta-Neath, Coychurch, coyty, Glyn Corrug, Killybebill, Langunoyd, Lanridian, Langenith, Michaelstone-super-Avon, Pennard, Reynoldstone, Swanzey, Saint Johns, Langan, and Lougher, all in co. Glamorgan, and also within the parishes or hamlets of Penderin, Devynock, Trallong, Lanhamlach, Lechvane, Lanelly, and Saint Michael Cum Duy, all in co. Brecon; the annual value of all these lands is one thousand pounds. These lands are to be held for the term of five hundred years, if the said Lady Elizabeth Hervey shall so long live, paying annually a rent of one pepper-corn. The demise is made in trust to permit the said Bussy Mansell to receive all the profits of the said properties during his life, and after his decease, to pay to the said Lady Elizabeth Hervey as her jointure a yearly sum of eight hundred pounds, with right of distraint to the said Lady Elizabeth Hervey and her assigns on the said properties.
