A volume containing memoranda, dated 1840-41, of Ophelia Catherine Powell (1823-1866), daughter of George Eyre Powell and Catherine, his wife, afterwards wife of the Rev. Professor David Lewis Evans, and a commonplace book of poetry and some prose items kept by the said Ophelia Powell between January 1843 and July 1854. Other items included in the volume are an incomplete letter, dated at Colyton 20 Dec. 1846, addressed to 'Miss Powell with J.T.'s [?the Rev.
