1 John Salusbury of Ruge, esq., Dame Jane Salusbury, widow, late wife of Sir John Salusburye, knight, deceased, and Thomas Salusburye, son of the said Sir John Salusburye, executors of the will of the said Sir John Salusbury. 2 John Salusburye of Magbenbead, co. Denbigh, Symon Thelwall, Gruffith Wynne and Robert Wynne, esquires. Assignment, in performance of articles contained in a deed dated 20 Sept. 1574 between the said Sir John Salusbury and Dame Jane his wife on the one part and Maurice Wynne, esq., on the other part, of messuages, lands, etc., called the manor of Kilford, the Parke of Kilford with the Kegwall and the farme of Kilford, the tithes of Aberchwilar, Lloinegyvying and Blorant, co. Denbigh, and the advowson of the parish church of Potvarrie, co. Flint, which Sir John Salusbury in his lifetime possessed for a term of years by grants of the Queen, the Bishop of St Assaphe and others, to hold the same to the use that they shall permit the said Dame Jane Salusburye the one half of the said messuages, lands, tithes and advowson during the term of years remaining in the same in her lifetime, and the other half to the use of the sons of the said Sir John Salusbury by the said Dame Jane, and after the decease of the said Dame Jane the whole premesis until Thomas Salusbury, cousin and heir of the said Sir John Salusbury and son and heir of John Salusbury, esq., deceased, shall accomplish the age of 21 or he being dead before that age without issue male until John Salusbury, younger son of the said John Salusbury, esq., deceased, shall have accomplished the age of 21, and after that shall permit the said Thomas Salusbury, son and heir of John Salusbury, esq., deceased, and his heirs male, and for default of such heirs the said John Salusbury, younger son of the said John Salusbury, deceased, and his heirs male and in default of such issue the heirs male of the said Sir John Salusbury, to have and enjoy the said messuages, lands, etc., for the term of years. With provisions for the payment of sums of money to the said Maurice Wynne if a marriage between Margaret, the latter's daughter, or any other of his daughters, with Thomas Salusbury or John Salusbury, sons of the said John Salusbury, esq., deceased, does not become effective according to the said deed of 20 Sept. 1574.
