1 Dame Janet, late wife of Thomas Salesbury, knight, deceased. 2 Roger Salesbury, esq., son and heir of the said Thomas. Agreement that the said Janet shall enjoy for the term of her life all those messuages, lands, etc., which lately she jointly had with her husband of the gift and feoffment of Master Gregory Henllan and Sir Moris ap David ap Hilyn, clerks, within the town of Botvarru or within the parish of the same, co. Flint, without any interruption of the said Roger and his heirs, and also in manner of her jointure the mill of Abewhelar in the lordship of Diffryncloyd, and all the mews, lands, etc., that late were of Agnes Whelok in the parish of Henllan in the lordship of Dynbiegh, and the lands and tenements which the said Sir Thomas Salesbury her husband or Thomas Salesbury his father were at any time seined of in the town of Colsill, co. Flint, and a new place in the outer ward of the Castle of Dynbiegh; the said Roger grants to the said Dame Janett for her dower those burgages, lands, etc., whereof the said Sir Thomas was seised in the town of Dynbiegh, a pasture or close named Huxley hey in Llewenny, a close named Rumwurth in Astrett Canon, a tenement and lands lying to the same in the tenure of Res ap Conus called Havott Lome in the commot of Keynmergh in the lordship of Dynbyegh, a tenement in the town of Aberwhelar in Ruthyn land and all lands and tenements belonging to the same late in the holding of Roger Salesbury, a tenement and lands late in the holding of Agnes verch Ievan Idarwr in the said lordship of Ruthyn; that the said Dame Janett shall occupy such manors, meses, lands, etc., which were set to farm to the said Sir Thomas by the King or any other person for term of years belonging to her as executrix to the said Sir Thomas during the same term, viz., the farm and term of the town mills of Dynbyegh, the manors of Kilford and Regwall and the herbage of Kylford Parke, and also all goods, debts and chattels that late were of the said Sir Thomas; the said Dame Janett shall pay to the said Roger an annual rent of ten marks as long as she holds the said manors of Kylford and Regwall, mills, lands, etc., by reason of the grant of the King; that the said Roger shall occupy for life the burgages, meses, lands, etc. assigned to Dame Janett in dower without any rent. Agreement to confirm the estate of the said Foulke Fraunces in 13 acres and two pennyworth of lands lying together in the acres of Lleweny between the upper common and the lower common which William Llannerghe granted at fee farm to Robert Fraunces at an annual rent of 16s. by deed dated Michaelmas 1436 (7s.4d. to the said William Llannerghe and the remainder to the chief lords of the fee), and three parcels of land one being called Pigot Ley (10 acres), another lying on the west part of the said 10 acres (11/2 acre) and the third lying on the east part of the said 10 acres (7 acres), which Roger Salusbury, esq. granted at fee farm to Robert Dolben of Denbighe, draper, and Margret his wife at an annual rent of 4s.8d. by deed dated 12 March 1490/1 (2s.4d. to the said Roger and the remainder to the chief lords of the fee).
