A volume of photocopies of Flemish press cuttings, 1991-1992, relating to the memorial of the poet Ellis Humphrey Evans ('Hedd Wyn', 1887-1917), unveiled at Pilkem, near Langemark, Belgium, 31 July 1992. Additional photocopies of Flemish press cuttings, together with posters and a copy of the donor's speech, all relating to an exhibition concerning 'Hedd Wyn', held at Sint-Niklaas, Flanders, Belgium, Jan.-Feb. 1993. Additional photocopies of Flemish press cuttings, 1994, together with posters and film programmes, relating to the showing of the film 'Hedd Wyn' at the Flanders Film Festival, Ghent, and the Northern Film Festival, Friesland, Oct. and Nov. 1994. Photocopy of the autobiography of George W. Lloyd ('Georgie Brawd', 1860-c.1936), Aberdare, written late 1920s or early 1930s, extracts from which were published in the Aberdare Leader, 1932. It includes an account of his experiences in the navy and contains a description, c.1878, of the plight of the early Welsh settlers in Patagonia.

A photocopy of NLW MS 23137E, comprising the brief for the defence in the case heard at the Carmarthenshire Assizes, July 1870, against Evan and Hannah Jacob of Llanfihangel-ar-arth, co. Carm., for the manslaughter of their daughter, Sarah Jacob (1857-1869), the 'Welsh Fasting Girl'.

Huett, Wales, 1558-1579) relating to Thomas Huett (d. 1591), Biblical translator and precentor of St Davids, together with Derek Hewett's typescript transcript of the complaint, 1571, of the treasurer and canon of St Davids against Thomas Huett. Also photocopies of chancery proceedings (PRO C3/88/84, Huet v. Neale, Northampton, 1558-1579) relating to Thomas Huet, believed by Derek Hewett to be Thomas Huet/Huett (d. 1591), Biblical translator and precentor of St Davids; together with a photocopy of the will, 1557, of his father Thomas Hewet of Bedford.
