Evan Jones (Flintshire) prison record,

A photocopy, from of the prison record, 1841-1896, of Evan Jones, tried at the Flintshire Quarter Sessions, 1841, and transported for sacrilege. [Evan Jones was indicted for an act of sacrilege in Halkyn Churchyard and ordered to be transported at the Flintshire Quarter Sessions, November 1841. See John A. Facsimile copies of two account books, 1836-1839, of Henry Francis (1784-1853), a mine agent in the Marazion area of Cornwall; the Francis family history compiled by the donor's grandfather, Henry Francis (b. 1849), surveyor, accountant, and agent of several mining ventures in Cardiganshire between 1870 and 1920; a photograph, taken at the wedding of the donor's parents, which also features Henry Francis (b. 1849); and the family register of Arminius Burgess of Yeadon, Yorkshire (1923-c. 1900).
