Frances [?],

Mae'n ddrwg ganddi am bopeth. Roedd hi'n casáu'r Western Mail ddydd Mawrth a gwrthododd ei agor tan yn hwyr yn y dydd. Yr oedd wedi gobeithio cymaint y byddai popeth yn iawn i W. J. Gruffydd.

Francis Williams, Caergrawnt,

Diolch i W. J. Gruffydd am erthygl oleuedig yn Y Llenor diweddaraf. Ymddengys yn ffasiwn ymhlith llawer o ysgrifenwyr Cymreig yn dilyn cyhoeddi cyfrol y diweddar Llewelyn Williams, The Making of Modern Wales, i glodfori a chanmol Catholigion a Chatholiciaeth. Mae'n hen bryd i rywun o safle W. J. Gruffydd i daflu goleuni llachar ar y perygl. Mae'n apelio arno i gyfieithu'r erthygl i'r Saesneg a'i chyhoeddi'n ddiymdroi.

Frank Price Jones, Dinbych,

Diolch i W. J. Gruffydd am ei araith ar y 'Scottish Highlands Bill'. Bu'n gweld bai ar Y Faner am beidio â sylweddoli mai W. J. Gruffydd yn unig o'r 600 o aelodau seneddol a welai ymhellach na'i drwyn. Holi pam na fuasai [Aneurin] Bevan a Jim Griffiths yn ei gefnogi. Cynnig cynorthwyo W. J. Gruffydd.

G. Arbour Stephens, Abertawe,

Llythyr yn cymeradwyo dyfyniad yn y Western Mail o sylw golygyddol gan W. J. Gruffydd yn Y Llenor. Hoffai pe bai Cymry yn gallu sylweddoli gwir arwyddocâd ei sylwadau. Nid oes corff mwy totalitaraidd ar gael na'r Eglwys Gatholig, un sy'n ceisio chwarae a bwydo ar emosiynau ac ofergoelion pobl gyffredin. Fe geisiodd y pulpudau Cymreig ddynwared hyn gyda chanlyniadau trychinebus.

G. E. K. Braunholtz, Rhydychen,

Y mae'n amgau erthygl [sydd yn eisiau] ar ran y Philological Society gan ofyn i W. J. Gruffydd fwrw golwg drosti a rhoi ei farn arni i weld a yw'n addas ar gyfer trafodion y gymdeithas. Gwahoddiad i alw pan fydd W. J. Gruffydd yn Rhydychen.
