Roedd yr hen dollty rhwng y ty isaf yn Stryd Penlan a safle Festri Capel Penlan. // Ruins of houses behind the town's pre-1808 quay, that was completely eliminated after the work of building the Pwllheli Embankment was begun in 1812. The houses were called 'Quay' and in their midst was the orginal 'Mitre'. The old custom house was on the opposite side, between the lowest house in Penlan Street and the site of Penlan Chapel Vestry.
