Pp. 1-26 were written c. 1575.

Poems mainly of Huw Arwystl, some of which are autograph, together with other poems in several different hands.

A manuscript, late 15th to the 16th century, containing poetry of Dafydd ap Gwilym, Iolo Goch, Hywel Cae Llwyd, Dafydd Epynt, Rhys Fardd, Hywel Swrdwal and others.
Pp. 21-112 were written probably before 1484. The manuscript is written in various hands (p. 21 alone containing three different hands): the poems of Dafydd Epynt are all in one hand (see Peniarth MS 60); those of Hywel Cae Llwyd and Hywel Swrdwal in another (see Peniarth MS 54, part ii); those of Rhys Fardd in another hand; etc. Pp. 1-20 contain a peculiarly cramped hand. The poetry on pp. 359-392, 396-419, 422-423, 432-448 is written in bardic script (see Gwenogvryn's observations on this in J. Gwenogvryn Evans, Report on Manuscripts in the Welsh Language, vol. I (London, 1898-1905), 418). P. 257 is rubbed and the readings uncertain in part. The two leaves following p. 284b have been cut out. At least one folio is torn off at p. 448 and the remainder of the poem is inverted.

A manuscript, late 15th to the 16th century, seemingly belonging to Peniarth MS 54i, and containing poetry of Hywel Cae Llwyd and others, and pedigrees.
The cywyddau of Hywel Cae Llwyd and Hywel and Ieuan Swrdwal are written in the same hand as that which cited the works of Hywel Cae Llwyd and Hywel Swrdwal in Peniarth MS 54i.

A collection of Welsh poetry, compiled by one scribe during the mid-thirteenth century, containing verse composed at various times during the period between the eighth and thirteenth centuries.
The volume includes triads (p. 27), religious and vaticinatory poetry, eulogies, elegies and numerous poems relating to the Myrddin Legend.

A compendium, [late 15th cent. x early 16th cent.], of works on astrology, medicine, sayings, Brut y Saeson, a short chronicle, Lives of Saints David and Gwenffrewi, Bonedd y Saint and other texts. The manuscript was previously ascribed to Gutun Owain (see Daniel Huws, Medieval Welsh Manuscripts (Aberystwyth, 2000), p. 190).

A manuscript in several late 18th century hands comprising summaries and transcripts of texts from the Book of Llan Dâf and from Jesus College MSS 2 (Llyfr Ancr Llanddewibrefi), 3, 7 and 17. The manuscript also includes a copy of a note book by Robert Vaughan; transcripts of the British Genealogy relating to Wales; topographical notes on Glamorgan and the Gower; and poetry concerning Anrawd and The Wars of Brecknock.

Lists of Welsh - Latin words selected under specific topics, including 'God', 'Heaven', 'Earth', 'man and his members', and 'the house and furniture' in the hand of John Jones, Gellilyfdy, 1632.

A composite manuscript. Mainly an informal collection of pedigrees, narrative and tabular, of both north and south Wales, in the hands of Gruffudd Hiraethog (pp. 1-7, 9-16, 18-22, 71-87, 153-260, etc.) and Wiliam Llŷn (e.g. pp. 26-48, 61-70, 91-152). Gruffudd was writing between 1562 (pp. 2, 20, 418) and 1564 (pp. 22, 201). On the manuscripts cited by him, see P.C. Bartrum, ‘Genealogical sources quoted by Gruffudd Hiraethog’, National Library of Wales Journal, 26 (1989-90), 1-9. Wiliam Llŷn left a few dates, e.g. 1564 (p. 95) and 1567 (p. 32). Gruffudd records many coats of arms in houses, churches, etc. (pp. 9-16, 153-260, 299-301). On pp. 531-6 he copied ‘Geirie gan Taliessin ai gyngor ai gyssul’ from ‘llyfr Ieuan ap Jhon ap Mred or Glyn’, together with triads [pp. 129-30 of Peniarth MS 137 apparently belong here]. On pp. 427-82, in the hand of Wiliam Llŷn, is an armorial in Welsh, the arms in trick, referred to on p. 479 as ‘Llyfr arfau o waith Wiliam Llyn’ [see M.P. Siddons, The Development of Welsh Heraldry, 4 vols (Aberystwyth, 1991-2006), I, pp. 44–6]. A miscellany of medical lore and recipes, etc., in the hand of James Jenkins, a surgeon, of the Ruabon area: Hanes Owain Farchog [Purgatorium S. Patricii, see Studia Celtica, 8/9 (1973-4), 121-94, esp. 134] (pp. 1-27, beginning wanting); Breuddwyd Pawl (pp. 27-42, end wanting); ‘Pwy a fu farw ac ni aned irioed’ and similar questions [Studia Celtica, 30 (1996), 197-222, esp. 213-14] (p. 43); englynion, etc. (pp. 45-6); a list from memory of patients (from Ruabon, yr Hob, Chirk, Oswestry, etc.), suffering from either broken bones or wounds, who had been treated by James Jenkins (pp. 49-53); ‘Pasol asgwrn sydd ynghorff gwr a gwraig ... hyny o esgyrn o gymal i gymal a ffheindies if James Jenkins yny Sersant Haol yn Llunden ...’ (pp. 55-61); other medical lore and recipes, in Welsh (pp. 62-3, 65-75, 77-87, 89-105). A memorandum on p. 89, written by the scribe in the shaky script of old age, is dated 1608.
