Bargain And Sale at the request of John Davies, kt, of lands called 'the little fforrest of Brecknooke' in the lp and co. of Brecon, once belonging to Henry, late prince of Wales, and formerly to Thomas, lord Seymor of Sudely, and Edward, duke of Buckingham, and conveyed to 1 by the king by letters patent of 12 March 1614 [see NLW Carreg-lwyd Deeds and Documents, no. 2414], paying an annual rent of £7 to the Crown. Endorsed as having been enrolled on the dorse of the close rolls, 6 May 1614. Deed purchased from J. L. M. Gulley, Upper Norwood, London, in May 1989.
