Transcript, made in 1766, of Sir John Wynne's History of the Gwydir Family. It appears to be copied from a transcript, made on 18 Oct. 1706, of a manuscript which in 1700 belonged to Humphrey Humphreys, bishop of Bangor.[? Wynnstay MS]. NLW MS 27 is a transcript of the same original. The History is followed by transcripts of a land tax assessment for co. Denbigh at 2s. 4d. per £,.n.d.; resolutions of the Commissioners for co. Denbigh for levying an aid to the King, 3 May 1700; a note of the division of any general mise in the hundred of Isalet, and the 'Decays of Ruthin', co. Denbigh, n.d.; another division of the hundred of Isalet, n.d.,. assessment of a quarter tax in the parish of Llanddoget, 1 May 1674; and the Rules and Orders for the government of an Almshouse for six poor men in the village of Kerrigy-druidion, co. Denbigh, to be erected and endowed by the Hon. Robert Price of Geeler, esq., one of the Barons of His Majesty's Court of Exchequer, 9 Feb. 1716/7.
