Three note-books containing cyclostyled copies (mounted or tipped in) of examination papers in Hebrew grammar and composition, Old Testament history, Old Testament canon, etc. [? set in terminal examinations at the Calvinistic Methodist College, Bala], 1907-1913. NLW MS 13026D also contains mounted cuttings of the Hebrew text of 2 Samuel, chapters ?I-XIV, with accompanying manuscript notes, and NLW MS 13027D mounted cuttings of the Hebrew text of chapters XV-XXIV of the same book. In several instances the examination papers have been superimposed on the text of, and notes on, the Book of Samuel.

Seventeen exercise books containing examination questions on various books of the Old and New Testament (general and detailed textual questions), Hebrew grammar and syntax, the history and religion of Israel, etc. Many of the questions have been transcribed from degree examination papers of the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Wales.
