Papurau, 1915-1918, a drosglwyddwyd o Gasgliad Llyfrau LlGC (gynt Ystafell Summers A96) yn deillio o gyfnod David Evans yn garcharor sifil yng ngwerysll Ruhleben ger Berlin. Maent yn cynnwys taflenni a gyhoeddwyd yn y gwersyll yn hysbysebu gwersi, darlithiau a gweithgareddau cymdeithasol. Sefydlwyd ysgol y gwersyll yn 1915 a David Evans oedd pennaeth Astudiaethau Celtaidd. Cyhoeddwyd erthygl 'Y Gymraeg ym 'Mhrifysgol Ruhleben'' gan David Thorne yng Nghylchgrawn Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru. Gweler hefyd NLW ex 2495 sy'n cynnwys papurau'n ymwneud â chyfnod y Capten Rowland Humphreys (ganwyd yn 1879) yn y gwersyll. = Papers, 1915-1918, transferred from NLW's Book Collection (formerly Summers Room A96) deriving from the time David Evans spent in Ruhleben camp near Berlin as a civilian prisoner. The papers include leaflets printed by the camp’s press advertising Welsh lessons taught by him, lectures and social events. The camp school was established in 1915 and David Evans was the head of Celtic studies. An article in Welsh has been written by David Thorne on the Welsh language in the 'University of Ruhleben' which was published in the National Library of Wales journal, Summer 1999.
