[Latin]. Witnesses: Robert ap Thomas, sheriff of Gower; William Mathew, provost of Swansea; Thomas de Sengleton’, Robert Knepyn’, Thomas Charles, Thomas Vordeward’. Dated at Swansea, Monday, 5th Oct., 7 Rich. II [1383]. Oval signet, red wax (16 x 10mm); impression from an antique oval intaglio gem; bust of an empress to the right, draped, wearing a fillet.
